World Food Day | Rise against hunger to donate 20 000 food parcels
To mark World Food Day non-profit organisation Rise Against Hunger, will today package and donate 20 000 food parcels to Early Childhood Development centres.
The food will be handed out to children from families in need.
This initiative is aimed at addressing Goal 2 of the 2030 Sustainable Development agenda that seeks to end hunger and double agricultural productivity in the next 15 years.
