South Africans continue to face financial pressures due to subdued economic growth , spiraling utility costs and increased job losses.
That’s according to research conducted by Nielsen Africa , a global measurement and data analytics company. The survey also revealed that consumer confidence decreased by 5 percentage points for the 3rd quarter of 2019.
And that consumers are now cutting down on luxuries and spending more money on essential items.
