The National Institute of Communicable Diseases has assured South Africans that the country is prepared for the coronavirus. Wuhan – the Chinese city at the centre of the virus outbreak is barring all non-essential vehicles from driving in the city, in the latest attempt to stop the spread of the virus. The virus has already killed 41 people. Four cases have been confirmed in Australia. No cases have been reported yet in South Africa or on the African continent.
