Seven people killed in a road accident in the Eastern Cape

Seven people have been killed and seven others injured in an accident on the R408 between Engcobo and Dutywa in the Eastern Cape.
Officers on the scene say the driver lost control of his bakkie which then overturned overnight.
The driver is among the injured who have been taken to hospital.
The Provincial Transport department says police have opened a culpable homicide docket.
