SAHRC to hold an inquiry into water quality at Tshwane’s waste water treatment plants
The South African Human Rights Commission will be conducting an inquiry into the water quality at Tshwane’s waste water treatment plants.
The commission, the City of Tshwane and the Department of Water and Sanitation have conducted a joint inspection of the contaminated Roodeplaat dam.
Earlier this week, the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research released findings showing that Hammanskraal water is not safe for drinking.
