President Ramaphosa yet to honour promise to visit Marikana Massacre widows

President Cyril Ramaphosa is yet to honour his promise to visit the widows of slain Mineworkers during the Marikana Massacre. As South Africa commemorates the eighth anniversary of the post-apartheid Massacre of workers, to date nobody has been brought to book for the brutal killing of those miners. The then Lonmin Non-Executive Director Cyril Ramaphosa was blamed for calling for ‘concomitant action’ against illegally striking mine workers.
