Life line offered to less privileged children in Gauteng: Panyaza Lesufi

The Gauteng Social Development Department has put aside 8R50 000 to create a life-line for 160 000 poor children in the province. The department will be launching a program next week which will see poor children enrolled for groceries, school transport, bursaries and dignity packs. The program will also support sport inclined children and also offer free education at all state schools and uniforms.

To tell us more about the initiative we are joined in studio by the Acting MEC for Gauteng Social Development Department Panyaza Lesufi.
