Latest on Nelson Mandela Bay Metro’s efforts to fight COVID-19 spread
Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane says government is communicating with both the Department of Home Affairs as well as the Post Office to curb long queues in order to stop the spread of COVID-19. He has also urged people not to believe untruths about the COVID-19 vaccine, saying that several vaccines have been developed over many years which prevented the spread of diseases, and saved lives. He said spreading myths about the vaccine could derail governments efforts to contain the virus. In the Eastern Cape, COVID-19 regulations are proving to be successful in the fight against the spread of the pandemic especially in the two metros in the province.
