Hlabisa says IFP voted with ANC to break service delivery impasse in Johannesburg

Inkatha Freedom Party new leader, Velenkosini Hlabisa says the IFP voted with the ANC in order to break a stalemate that was affecting service delivery in Johannesburg. Wednesday saw the ANC in Johannesburg overturn the DA’ coalition partners to elect Geoff Makhubo as the new mayor of the Johannesburg metro.
Makhubo replaces Herman Mashaba, who resigned from his job last month protesting the election of Helen Zille as DA chairperson of the federal council. For the first since elected IFP leader, Hlabisa is on tour in Mpumalanga to interact with residents.
