Former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi failed to arrive for his tender fraud case to the tune of R1.8 billion. This is due to him being in hospital in the intensive care unit. Agrizzi, former Correctional Services Commissioner Linda Mti, former Correctional Services CFO Patrick Gillingham and former Bosasa CFO Andries van Tonder are accused of fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud, corruption and money laundering. This relates to four tenders issued to Bosasa and its subsidiaries from 2004 to 2007.
