CR 17 Campaign funding | Mkhwebane defends her investigation report
The matter of the CR17 campaign funding continued yesterday. Legal representatives for President Cyril Ramaphosa and Public Protector, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, made their submissions at the Constitutional Court. Mkhwebane and the Economic Freedom Fighters applied to the apex court to appeal the judgment of the North Gauteng High Court, which set aside the Public Protector’s report into Ramaphosa’s campaign donations. Professor Tinyiko Maluleke joins us now to unpack this.
