Former President Jacob Zuma appeared briefly in the KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Pietermaritzburg Tuesday on fraud, corruption and money laundering charges relating to the controversial arms deal.
However, the matter could not go ahead as Zuma’s legal team indicated he would appeal Friday’s judgment dismissing his application for a permanent stay of prosecution.
Zuma has until the 1st of November to file papers.
His criminal trial will return to court in February 2020.
Joining us in studio to discuss this further is a political analyst, Sandile Swana.
