Young scholars tackle female genital mutilation in Somalia

Close to 90 per cent of women and girls in Somalia suffer the risk of undergoing female genital mutilation. These numbers are pushing different people to invest in projects aimed at doing something about the challenge. One such person is Obah Ali, a scholar at the American University of Beirut. She spoke to CNBC Africa’s Eugene Anangwe.
