Yearning, Miss Behave headline 2017’s Abantu Book Festival
Young, gifted, creative, fearless and Black. Young Female South African writers are finding their voice and space in the South African literature landscape and telling their own stories the best way they know how. Classic case is Author of the Yearning Mohale Mashigo and Malebo Sephodi who penned Miss Behave who are headlining this 2017’s Abantu Book Festival. Mashigo and Sephodi were in conversation at the Soweto Theatre’s Yellow Theatre on Friday night and they unpack that conversation.
