World Bank’s Makhtar Diop talks on boosting Africa’s digital economy

Findings by the World Bank Group suggest that new infrastructure could cost developing countries between 2 and 8 per cent of GDP per year to 2030, depending on the quality & quantity of service and the countries’ spending efficiency. On the side-lines of the recently concluded Transform Africa Summit 2019, CNBC Africa spoke to Makhtar Diop, World Bank Vice President for Infrastructure for more on infrastructure and boosting the continent’s digital economy.
