South African President, Jacob Zuma reminisced about his first encounter with Otlamentse Phalatse.
The 18-year-old, who was known for her undying spirit, lived her life to the fullest despite her debilitating disease.
The Progeria teen suffered breathing complications and died last week at the Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital in Pretoria.
Phalatse, who touched the hearts of South Africans, was laid to rest on Friday at her hometown in the North West at Stand 696 Motseng Section, Hebron Village.
