Unfiltered: Is De Klerk’s apology enough for you?

On the day of the launch of anti-racism week, Former president FW de Klerk heeds the call from multiple organisations including the Desmond and Leah Tutu Foundation, and apologises for his insistence that apartheid was not a crime against humanity. It all started with an SABC interview with Manelisi Dubase marking the release for late former president Nelson Mandela, in which De Klerk, stood his ground on the conviction that apartheid was not a crime against humanity, sparking backlash and widespread condemnation from anti-apartheid activists, Faith organisations, struggle veterans as well as ordinary South Africans.
