Transnet’s no show at SCOPA meeting a ‘thuggish behavior’: Committee

Parliament’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts or SCOPA has labelled Transnet’s no show at their meeting as ‘thuggish behavior.’
The board of Transnet failed to honour a follow-up meeting with SCOPA this morning – despite having agreed to it last week.
Transnet was meant to provide, among others, answers on its R4-billion rands worth of irregular expenditure.
