Supra’s fate as North West premier – Olebogeng Kgosilentswe

The North West Provincial Executive Committee has instructed premier Supra Mahumapelo to withdraw his resignation, saying he was not instructed to do so. The PEC says Mahumapelo will take leave of absence and should appoint an acting premier, while they await the decision of the interministerial task team headed by Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma. The inter-ministerial task team was appointed to investigate allegations of corruption in the province.
