State of the rail industry in SA: Dr Willem Sprong

The Railway Safety Regulator says it will launch a board of inquiry into the two recent train accidents that claimed 19 lives and left many injured in Free State and Johannesburg. The regulator says it’s also concerned by the fire that engulfed the coaches after the train – the Shosholoza mail crashed into a truck on the level crossing in Free State.
