Sisulu slams actions of Israeli government

South Africa has strongly condemned Israel’s use of deadly force against protestors along the Israeli-Palestinian border near Gaza on Monday. At least 55 unarmed people were killed and 2 700 others were injured when Israeli troops opened fire on them as they protested against the US Government’s decision to open its Embassy in Jerusalem. International Relations Minister Lindiwe Sisulu says Israel’s actions are unacceptable, hence the immediate recall of South Africa’s ambassador Sisa Ngombane from Tel Aviv.
