Ramaphosa chairs Presidential Economic Advisory Council meeting

President Cyril Ramaphosa will this afternoon chair the first meeting of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council at Tuynhuys in Cape Town. President Ramaphosa appointed the 18-member council with effect from 1 October 2019 for a three-year term.
The council comprises local and international economic thought leaders, labour, community and think tanks among others.
It will serve as a forum for in-depth and structured discussions on emerging global and domestic developments, economic and development policies.
