It is only ten days left before the African National Congress’ Fifty-Fourth National Elective Conference. The much awaited event continues to dominate headlines, with all nine provinces have just completed their provincial general councils. While Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma and Cyril Ramaphosa have emerged as front runners, a lot will depend on what transpires during the Conference. A few weeks ago, outgoing President Jacob Zuma met those running for the party’s top post. He said…”I was worried about the Conference-which is being looked at seriously not just by the ANC, but also by the world. The ANC is one of the big organisations in the world, whatever it does people look at it”. Tonight Question Time continues its analysis of the ANC’s fiercely-contested event.
