President Cyril Ramaphosa has visited the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa, PRASA’ offices in Cape Town.
He briefed the media about the Agency’s efforts to improve commuter services and to stimulate economic growth.
He also witnessed the testing of new trains sets.
The president recently had personal experience of commuter frustration and technical problems with rolling stock when the train he was travelling in broke down between two stations in Pretoria.
