This morning Leanne in Durban. It’s the second of our broadcasts ahead of the elections on the 8th of May.
It’s been 25 years since the dawn of Democracy and there have been highs and lows on the political front.
The ruling party in KwaZulu-Natal the ANC and the party in the province has been marred with factions.
Now the party will going to the elections as united.
There are also other political parties namely the IFP which has a few strongholds in the province.
To get some analysis now on the politics in KZN with Xolani Dube from the Xubera Institute.
On the other side of the coin, KZN is also a wealthy province with many industries, minerals and of course tourism adding to the economic bundle of the province.
Durban of course takes centre stage. I’m also joined by Musa Makhanya President of the Chamber of Commerce in Durban.
