Thirty-five people have died in four separate accidents in Limpopo over the long weekend. Twenty four people died in a head on collision between a bus and a taxi near Giyani last night. Six people died along the same R81 road early yesterday morning.

SABC Chief Financial Officer, Yolande van Biljon, has warned of the possibility of a communication blackout amid the public broadcaster’s dire financial situation.
