Embattled public protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane says news reporting in the country is an obstacles for her office. Advocate Mkhwebane says the media has been playing the man and not the ball.
She was speaking at the UNISA 7th Annual Spring Law Conference in Mulders-drift, West of Johannesburg, on the role of Chapter 9 institutions in a constitutional democracy.
Her comments come as there are increasing calls for her removal from office.
However, Mkhwebane says she’s going nowhere.
