Many people entrust their possessions to their family hoping they will distribute them to their loved ones when they are gone.
Often than not this is not the case. Families battle each other over the estate of a deceased loved one, often leaving lasting legacies of animosity.
Take advantage of this, this week is National Wills Week and takes place until Friday, 20 September.
Legal Aid South Africa has partnered with the Law Society of South Africa and the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development and will be drafting basic wills for free throughout the week, as well as providing legal advice on wills, at no cost.
To tell us more, in studio we are joined by Hanoneshea Hendricks who is the National Legal Manager for Civil matters at Legal Aid South Africa.
