The long awaited elections have come and gone. Citizens will go back to their struggles, trying to make ends meet while waiting for the politician’s promises.
The Mayor of the City of Beira in Mozambique and leader of the Democratic Movement of Mozambique, says they are in need of international intervention to rebuild the city of Beira.
Earlier this year, Beira and other neighbouring provinces in the Northen part of Mozambique were hard hit by cyclones Idai and Kenneth which left a trail of destruction on infrastructure, leaving millions destitute and hundreds dead.
