Communications minister Stella Ndabeni Abrahams has issued an apology after an altercation with the sabc news crew at an ANC rally at Mount Frere in the Eastern Cape. Her statement reads: … I would like to offer my sincere unreserved apology for an earlier altercation with some members of the media during the ANC provincial rally in Mount Fere whilst trying to stop the singing comrades. I wish to assure the media and South Africa at large my unresereved commitment to media freedom. I sincerely regret the incident.
