Kenyatta’s second term challenged in court

In news from the rest of the continent, a hearing on whether Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta will serve a second and final term in office begins at the Supreme Court in Nairobi today.
Kenya has held two presidential elections in the last three months after the opposition succesfully petitioned the court to nullify his first victory in August.
Kenyatta won the re-run with 98 percent of the vote.
He now faces a new challenge after a former member of parliament and two human rights activists petitioned the court to invalidate the elections.
