Online Gambling came under the spotlight at the recently held National Gambling Conference. This as revenue generated by the legal gambling industry is increasingly being eroded by online and illegal gambling, which according to the National Gambling Board, also impacts tax revenue for government.
Further consequences include a loss of employment opportunities, loss of local economic activity and an erosion of consumer rights and protection.
