Former Aurora managers to go on trial for transgressing Water Act

Former President Jacob Zuma’s nephew Khulubuse Zuma, the grandson of Nelson Mandela, Zondwa Mandela and another former director of Aurora Empowerment Systems, Thulani Ngubane will go on trial for transgressing the Water Act in June and July next year.
The state has revised the initial 5 counts against them to 3. They stand accused of looting the Grootvlei mine and are charged for failing to treat underground water before releasing it into the Blesbokspruit, which feeds into the Vaal River.
