She’s defying stereotypes and pushing boundaries in an industry that is not only dominated by males but those males also happen to be white.
Her name is Ethel Taka a female tattoo artist who has been inking people’s bodies for more than ten years ago.
Her studios are based in Maboneng in Johannesburg and describes her tattooing style and technique as Realism, 3D and intricate.
