Business for South Africa or BASA, which is a group of business bodies established to coordinate business’ response to the Coronavirus pandemic, has released a 12 point blueprint to rescue and accelerate the economy by growing the Gross Domestic Product or GDP by 1 trillion rand, generate 1.5 million jobs and increase tax revenues by 100 billion rand. This blueprint, has been endorsed by organised business bodies such as the Black Business Council or BBC and Business Unity South Africa, BUSA. B4SA said that it could take the economy more than three years to recover if the right strategy is not followed.
