As we have been reporting in the news – this morning, South Africa wakes up to news that 50 more people have died of COVID-19 related conditions in the country.
This takes South Africa’s death toll to 755.
A total of 35-thousand-812 people have tested positive for COVID-19 to date in the country.
The Eastern Cape has now overtaken Gauteng with the second-highest number of infections, while the Western Cape remains the epicentre with more than 23 thousand 500 confirmed cases.
