Clash of the bakkies: SA Nissan Hardbody crumples, five-year-old Euro counterpart doesn’t

A recent Global NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) crash test has raised concerns over the safety of new Nissan NP300 Hardbody vehicles sold on the African market. The test, a first of its kind, conducted at a facility outside Munich, Germany, in November 2019, was carried out at 56km/h between a new Nissan NP300 Hardbody sold in Africa and a five-year-old Nissan NP300, with 75,000km on the clock and purchased in Scotland.
