Cape Town’s plan to aid water crisis: Helen Zille

The Eastern and Western Cape have been experiencing drought for about two years which has had devastating effect on the farming community. However the persistent water crisis has been causing alarm in both urban and rural regions, with restrictions for businesses, an 87 litre water restriction for households, and smart water metre systems being implemented in forty-one schools which saved 7.6 million litres of water.
