Call to lift sanctions against Sudan

The three African members of the United Nations Security Council, also called the A3, have reiterated calls from the African Union Peace and Security Council that economic and financial sanctions against Sudan be lifted.
It also called for Sudan to be removed from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire and Equatorial Guinea made the joint-statement to the press in New York.
