Beyonce, Jay Z lead SA anti-poverty festival for Mandela

An international concert that will celebrate the life and times of world icon, former President Nelson Mandela, will be held in South Africa at the end of the year. The aim is to encourage people around the world, particularly young people to do good deeds and take an interest in what’s happening in their respective countries. The concert, billed Mandela 100 Global Citizen Festival generated huge interest after the announcement was made in Johannesburg. News that the Free Entry Festival will be headlined by Beyonce and Jay Z took many by surprise. But in the true spirit of Madiba, revelers will have to show that they have made a difference in ending poverty before they can get their share of the 100,000 tickets.
