A new era for IFP as Buthelezi steps down after 44 years

Outgoing IFP President Inkosi Mangosuthu Buthelezi says his retirement will remain haunted by a lack of reconciliation between the IFP and the ANC. In a nearly three hour speech Buthelezi paid tribute to former president Nelson Mandela for his leadership role in South Africa. He also weighed in on the land issue, including the Ingonyama Trust. The IFP held its elective conference in Ulundi, KwaZulu-Natal. We cross to our reporter Simphiwe Makhanya for an update from the conference.
