Adoption gives a child an opportunity to grow up in a home filled with love. But the process is not only incredibly flow but can is also sometimes frowned upon because of misconceptions of some communities.
According to the Department of Social Development, there are about 2 400 adoptions per year in the country. This number is very low considering the growing number of orphaned and abandoned children.
