3rd International Science Forum in SA

Morning Live is broadcasting from the CSIR International Convention Centre. This science and technology event that serves as an international forum that provides a platform to talk about the impact of science, technology and innovation. It also displays the successes of the country’s science system to the international community and the public. South Africa’s Deputy President, Cyril Ramaphosa, is expected to deliver a keynote address late this morning. This venue will be buzzing with activity later this morning when proceedings get underway with exhibitions, demonstrations, plenary sessions and science talks.
Around 1500 people from local and international scientific communities will attend. Leading academics, politicians, civil society, scientists and science journalists will also be here.
